You obviously didn't watch the programme. It was nothing to do with money or time. The problems the Ferdinand kids had were the same as the other kids at the centre they went to in Stratford.

Maybe it tells people that the best way to deal with these situations is to have lots of money and time to yourself to spend time with your children unencumbered by having to work or restrictions on what you can give them.

It is so very easy to sneer at stuff like this and there I was fully expecting to be sneering at Kate, some money grabbing reality TV div. She actually came across as an intelligent and thoroughly nice person. She obviously cares for the children and the scenes they showed talking with families in similar situations showed that. Rio can't do anything now to make up for the betrayal of his first wife but he can try and give his kids a stable home and future and that's what he's doing. Why is it of interest? To most of us not much other than curiosity but there will be people watching with step children / step parents and if it offers up some answers / solutions to problems they may be experiencing then what harm do programmes like this do.

Attention seeking multi-millionaire gets married to a 'reality' TV star, no wonder Boris wants to get rid of the BBC. Rubbing the noses in it of single parents who are fucking struggling financially when they lose a partner, that would be more worthy of a documenatary than that shite!

In fairness - it's her that is punching above her weight - the geezers half decent looking, weapon body, freighted and a household name. He could do far better than that
But agree, the show should never be commissioned. Waste of tax payers money.
